Being trained as an architect, I have come to realize how versatile the profession is, and how much it encompasses every type of design.
Beginning as a blog to showcase my architectural thesis work, I now look forward to using it as a sounding board for my other outlets of creative problem solving: graphic design, illustration, textile exploration, theoretical writing, and even travel. I was that pre-schooler who shielded her Crayola creations from anyone interested in looking. “I’m not done yet,” a simple enough excuse for a four-year-old. I have realized since then, that these unfinished works are the means by which the end is justified, the raw concepts that eventually lead to a finished project.
I have subtitled the blog design (un)bound with the intention of not only discovering engaging design topics, but discovering what design is capable of manifesting.
